The first stage of Muğla University Research Laboratories Center-MUALM Project, which started in 2007, was completed at the end of 2010. The building has a closed area of 8000 m2 with laboratories, conference room and study offices.
Our building consists of two stages: In the first stage, there are laboratories that will be active in the fields of Food, Environment, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physics and Materials Science. Most of the devices purchased for all these laboratories has been set up and started to be used actively in research studies. The devices in the central building serve in the area of nano- and bio-technology, environment, archeology, physics, chemistry, biology, materials, construction, geology, mining, ceramics, legal medicine, dentistry and etc. Construction of the second stage, which has a usage area of 9000 m2, still continues. When the construction is completed, new research laboratories which include equipments for the production of nano- and bio-technological materials are planned to be put into service.
